Man its been a LONG time, and it’s time for Buys and No Buys!

Watched a really nice movie recently with a really nice girl, called HELLO GHOST! Oops that is the name of the movie :p (Sup Gaga!!) It’s a beautiful Korean comedy, with lots of laughter (they are so talented of making comedy out of everyday life scenes), good acting, and a nice twist! Yes, it really makes u go… “OHHHHH now I see what the movie means.”

I am officially a Aikido blue belt as I passed that day :P Yes it’s a while ago, but still, my journey is a nice feel good story. The psychomotor deficit person, me, actually still can pass a martial arts exam :p Well, to recap the day, I woke up early, found out the place was real near my house, MOONSTONE LANE (World of Warcraft inspired no doubt), had a good warm up, had a good partner (really appreciate u, Mr Iforgotyourname) and wayang-ed the hell by bumping like a wrestling jobber. And I did it :)

: My leg, unfortunately was injured since that day, and now recovering. But there is still a long road bcos it still hurts here and there, and I still can’t walk around (the single most bo liao thing I like to do) as far as I want, much less jog and basketball . Maybe it’s all those miles of walking in Europe and Taiwan that has finally caught up on me? Maybe its those army route marches? Maybe it was climbing the locked toilet cubicle and landing awkwardly, before realizing it wasn’t locked? (Please forget I wrote this). We’ll see how this goes.

It was a nice feeling to be back in NUS for a short while on Saturday. In a way, I felt I never had closure fully with that place where I spent 3 memorable years. To be honest, I was very overwhelmed with emotions (yes keep laughing) when I saw the newly grad youngsters, and it really brought me back to my own commencement. I also took a hike to YIH, and took the bus out through Science Fac.. man…. Time to cry somewhere :P

: The reason I went was of cos to see Gaga in her Harry Potter uniform! And yes, after wandering around for some time, I finally saw Hermoine Granger herself, and we took photos, and I gave her the sky lantern I bought for her in Taiwan. And she smiled and laughed. Yay :)

: Went drinking with my new buddy Kelvin at the place I call “The Thai disco above East Coast Mac” and for all the fun (for which he pay everything LOL, thus I forgave him for LEAVING ME ALONE TO GO HOME HIMSELF) and cute Thai girls and high-ness of just dunking liquid and playing games together; this is No buys cos.. I almost did not make it back home. Seriously, I was probably a glass or two away from being spotted the next morning by the cleaner at Mac. Haha.. but it was a good experience, knowing your limits.

Pop quiz -Should you decide its time to delete someone from Facebook if in front of you, the person can’t recognize you at all and thinks u are a stranger, and asks you something as if u are a stranger? Well, that’s what happened at the carnival. No hard feelings, I just never maintained contact with the person ever since last year when I acted as Buddha (stop laughing) at one skit. But still, quite a WTH moment it was.

: There’s this fingerprint scanning system at work, and boy is it the pain in an ass! I have only been here 1 month plus, and I probably lead the organization in the ALL TIME category of “No. of failed fingerprint scans” and “Longest queue of people accumulated behind you as you keep failing to pass the scanning”! This week, I had enough though, and even though the HR girl herself saw my amazing feats in person, they still wanted me to re-do the scanning recording.. and I think I practically proved that I had no fingerprints as even the computer gave up on me, before they finally gave a password instead.. LOL. Well, add this to my list of useless X-men abilities like “Being able to break a bubble tea plastic cup by dropping it” or “Knocking down a CPU by just turning and having my hind leg touch it”

: Met the gang on Saturday too and it was great chilling out… and we had Yuna from SNSD with us….. HUH? Wait that’s Weiling! :P She suddenly changed her look that’s why! We went to play video games, and we did the Crazy rabbits thing, Guitar hero, Super Smash Bros (PIKACHU!) and the Wii sports! We also, finally met Marcus’ GF Jane.. who as I told him, looked like Fish Leong.. to which he said, “But Fish Leong is not chio -.-“ LOL. Good times.

: My friend from office has quit, and its quite a blow. Granted, I knew she had issues, but I never it was that deep. And the thing is, she is just such a nice person that in my 27 years, I only have seen a handful of people with such personalities. And she is the only Singaporean. She was really still functioning ok till last week, where suddenly it just seemed she would jump. And things just went downhill. Hope she is fine, and that I will see her soon.

: Go! Carnival was this past Sunday, and I had a good time there . I was helping in the booth called Peace of alphabet (Get it? :P). In the beginning, we were helping out to lelong customers. And well, its not easy, even with my looks :P Of course, I also went to do the pressing of computers, and giving out prizes, and it was busy fun as at afternoon, there was a damn big crowd! I really didn’t expect to see so many people, but it was good to hopefully help people to learn a little more about peace (though I doubt it as people kind of figured out that the topic “peace activities” was a lot easier to guess answers than “peace quotes”. -.-) Anyway, good day :)
